New Kitchen!
Woo-hoo! Moving into the new kitchen…friends helping me carry all the boxes…tons of room for all my cake stuff…renting from a very cool woman (Tracy) who’ll be doing her catering thing while I do my cake thing…everything is great…but…but…but…the key doesn’t work! Oh-oh.
First day in the new shop and I can’t get inside to start setting up. Four people tried jiggling and wiggling the key every which way, but the friggling key wouldn’t turn. Not the best impression for Tracy, who may have been thinking she’d just taken on a high-maintenance tenant. She had to put down her dinner fork and come rescue us with her key. She also worked some de-jigglie magic so my key would work better. Apparently keys need an introduction and a little foreplay before opening new doors.
If the key lets me in next time, I’m definitely going to enjoy having all that space to develop new recipes and test new flavours.
